"The Garden City" which for a brief four year period, 90 years ago, was the Summer Capital of The United States of America. I hope you have enjoyed your visit, and perhaps have learned a little more about our 27th President, William Howard Taft, his family, and our American History while visiting. This site is for the enjoyment of people of all nations and ages. I want to thank all the people who have supported me in this effort, and those that have allowed me to access the many items from the Taft Collection of the Beverly Historical Society and Museum. Please come by The Cabot House, headquarters of the Beverly Historical Society and Museum, at 117 Cabot Street, Beverly, Massachusetts, and view the many other historical treasures we have in our collections. I also want to thank all my ancestors, and all the other people, who have come before me, who have fought, and sacrificed, in countless wars, and other political battles, so that we, here in The United States of America, have the gift of freedom of speech.
